Copenhagen 1/6 2019. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Bryggervangen, Kbh Ø. What looks like a girl posing for Bunny Girl in a Mechanic's outfit on the label. She has managed to get some oil on her bare (!) shoulder for sexy effect. Tagline is Brilliant Golden Ale.
Gushy upon opening. Pours murky orange with a very big white head. Stable. Settles as 3 cm thick layer of fluffy foam. Clinging to the side of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is subdued due to the impressive amount of foam. Sweet, fruity and pretty light. Peach, Pear and Gooseberry. Lighter malty odors of bread and caramel.
Medium carbonation. Thin, watery and lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly stronger burnt bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while.
I would not exactly called it Brilliant - but it does what it is supposed to in a decent way. Bunny Girl or not.
