Brewmasters of the past refined the art of brewing with bottom yeast. It was almost considered a form of magic.
Fermentation at a low profile gives a relatively neutral yeast profile and thus room for fullness, character and sweetness from the abundant amount of malt
The color is reddish brown, almost like shiny copper.
The taste is round and soft with pleasant hints of caramel and chocolate.

Copenhagen 5/5 2024. 33 cl bottle fra Meny, Borups Allé, Fb. F. Syndikatets usual label design with a pale, ark haired lady with smoking, shimmering hands.
Pour clear, dark brown with a small off-white head. a bit bubbly. Settles thin layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sugary, malty odor mingling with metallic alcohol. Brown sugar, toffee and caramel. Sharp boozy alcohol. Whiff of sour grains.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit fat, slightly viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a subtle bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry with a malty touch of alcohol.
Sugary and malty.
