On tap served in a Nonic glass. 16oz pour.
Appearance: Very dark brown, thin tan head, lots of fine lacing all over the glass.
Smell: Hint of chocolate, roasted malt, tiny bit metallic (iron).
Taste: Roasted malt, cocoa powder, mild noble hops, a bit of metallic twang at the finish.
Mouthfeel: Good carbonation and thickness. A bit sticky on the teeth.
Overall / Drinkability: Not as drinkable as this style normally is, but a good take on the style. Maybe better with food? One was enough.
