On tap at Eudora brewing in Kettering, served in a tulip glass.
Appearance: Opaque orange/gold color, white head, plenty of lacing.
Smell: Orange, citrus, tropical fruit.
Taste: A lot like it smells, but only hop flavors of orange, tropical fruit, and grapefruit combined in a definite juice-like flavor. You can only taste the hops at the start and finish. It's clear there is malt in this, but whatever flavor profile the malt is bringing (other than sweetness to balance the hops) is completely hidden by the orange/tropical fruit/grapefruit juice flavors.
Mouthfeel: Nicely thick, quite smooth, light carbonation.
Overall / Drinkability: Interesting and not excessively bitter for something with dominating hop flavors, but I'm not sure what makes this "Aussy" in style. It fits a NE IPA style pretty well, especially in appearance. I found one was enough, but I could go for a second one with the right type of food.
