16oz pour in a nonic glass, on tap at the brewery.
Appearance: Clear gold-amber color. Thin white head with strands of persistent lacing.
Smell: Clean - not smelling much of anything.
Taste: Malty. Toasted malts, a little sweet, light bitterness and a hint of cooked grains at the finish.
Mouthfeel: Prickly carbonation, good thickness, a little bit of a dry finish.
Overall / Drinkability: Okay - I think it needs to be paired with food. Nice color and appearance, but not really wowing me for this style. Just okay. One was enough.
