On tap the day after the grand opening. Brewed with several fruit juices.
Deep mahogany brown pour, two fingers of dark cream colored head. Fine bubbles stick to the glass quite well.
Aroma, hard to discern, some toffee, toasted malt and prune.
Taste, lots of nice malt and brown sugar. Huge vinuous port and plum. Raisin, prune, toffee.
Pretty close to creamy with the fine carbonation. Solidly medium body. Very well hidden alcohol. Begs a comparison to some of the JW Lees stuff.
Worth trying for sure if they ever have this one on again.
