A coffee ipa.
Dark orange pour, thin layer of white head. Laces the glass a bit.
Aroma, Citrus and herbal type hops. A caramel latte type coffee.
Taste, Quite a bit of coffee. Toasted malt, big caramel. Minor herbal hop like notes. Finishes with a little anise, mostly coffee though.
To the light side of medium body. Good carbonation level, quite easy to drink.
Not sure this brew has much pale or ipa qualities, but I really liked it. Kind of like one of Avery's barrel aged ipa's, but with coffee instead of barrel.
