Hoppy, Roasty and Smooth. This beer will stay on your mind long after the last taste, like a song of the classic variety which may or may not have inspired this beer.

See through caramel brown colored beer light tan quickly fading head. Only a speck of lacing left behind. Sweet chocolate, caramel and rye in the nose. Nice sweet beer with spicy rye, chocolate and caramel. Very tasty brown ale.

I'm trying this at my Bestie's in Charlotte. It poured a hazy mahogany with off white creamy head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hints of the bread and hop. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Nice, smooth brown ale. poured from a 12 oz can into a pint glass. Big frothy antique white head with wide bands of frothy lacing on the glass. Mild aroma of bready malt and floral hops. Taste is more robust. Bready malt, roasted malt and a little floral hops are all wrapped up in a very smooth beer. I didn't get any sour rye in the mix. Mouthfeel is rich enough and very creamy and smooth. Goes down real easy!!! Kind of high abv for a session beer but it tastes like one that you could drink a few of. Nothing sensational, but a good beer all the same!!!
