Pregame Pilsner

It came from a tap in a standard clear pint glass. It's color is a bright and light amber, just slightly cloudy. Briefly, there was a modest white head. The aroma is a nice blend of malt and hops, in moderation. That's the way it drinks, although there is more malt to the taste than was in the aroma. As it warms, more of the hop profile can be detected, but this just doesn't have the nice clean bite of a good European Pilsner. Nonetheless, it's a pleasant brew to do. The body is smooth, the carbonation is good, but there's no glass lacing...none. Pleasant enough to have, but unremarkable, even for its style.
