300ml keg from Zăganu Bistro, Bucharest (18 lei):
Dark orange-amber with a translucent body & a thin, foamy white head that sticks to the glass a little too & just about covers the surface of the beer. Lightly. Hopped with some grapefruit bitterness & earthy hops, a little spice early on too & some nice biscuit notes - a well balanced start without being too pronounced. It's quite a spicy, floral beer with a strong grapefruit bitterness, some citrus & pronounced earthy hops & a little pepper too. It's sharp & tangy, quite dry towards the end & there's a lingering bitter aftertaste to close; it's nearer an American IPA than an IPL for me but its not too bad either.

Golden color with light haze and off-white head. Aroma has spicy notes with some light orange rind. Taste has clean malts and slightly spicy/earthy hop notes. Medium to light body with medium carbonation. Easy drinking lager with some extra bitterness but not very aromatic on the hops.
