From the 16 oz. can. Sampled on July 4, 2018.
Near black pour with a soft, silky tan colored head.
Big aroma of spent coffee grinds, sweet roasted dark malts, and a low hop profile.
The body is closer to medium unlike other Porters that tend to be lighter.
The taste has a notable coffee and sweet roasted character like a decent Porter should have with an earthy sort of mild hop bitterness and dryness to finish. This is a very fine Porter.
