Can from a Lazy Dog
Mostly clear deep copper color with a thin off white head that dissipates quickly. Caramel and dark dried fruit with bits of toffee and some earth and alcohol to cut through it all. Decent barleywine.

From the 16 oz can with no canning or expiration date that I can find. Sampled on June 3, 2018.
I'll give it a high grade for appearance with a brown color underneath a modest, short-lasting off-white head and slightly foggy. Reddish hues in the light.
The aroma penetrates my senses with barley grain malt, sweet caramel, apple, pear, and alcohol. It is nearly 12% so the booze is not masked.
The body feels lighter than most barley wines. Maybe light to medium. But it is smooth.
The booze tends to usurp all of the other taste sensations. It's got this grain alcohol strength. After a moment I pick up some sweet barley malts and caramel to finish.
