Can doesn't have any indication that it contains lactose - looked through every bit of text to make sure and didn't see anything. Just saying something has chocolate of some kind doesn't suffice.
It probably tastes good, but couldn't try it myself. Should've checked online before dropping $20 on a four pack

I'll preface this with, I aged it for 2 years. I expected it to be more than 6% based on the description and style. It's typically thin for a 6% beer. It's lightly chocolaty, it's certainly punches above it's ABV class for flavor, but is still a light for my palette.

Decent for an oatmeal stout, I beginning to realize the oatmeal stouts have a tart taste.

Part of a six beer flight at the brewery. Jet black color. Tan head. Smells very chocolatey. Taste is, well fudge! Good dessert beer but waaay too sweet to drink more than one.

L= Dark brown/black, one inch tan head, nice. Maybe we have something here.
S= Faint smell of good cholate and vanilla, only. Maybe we don't have something here.
T= Now the malt comes in, and a faint bit of smoke, Chocolate tasty but weak, vanilla overwhelmed. Bitter aftertaste.
F= Slightly sticky, and it just doesn't feel that good, dry and filmy.
O= It's drinkable, but ordinary. I feel I might have rated it a bit higher than I should have.

On tap at the brewery's taproom in Holland, Michigan - this seemed to have been contaminated somewhere along the way to my glass and deserved a low rating. But I now have a 16 oz can and have revised my ratings using this.
Appearance. Nearly black body with reddish-brown highlights and an excellent tan head.
Originally: the aroma seems a bit wrong and this partially carries over to the flavor / Revised: too hoppy for the intended character.
Overall. Certainly better when not a victim of a contaminated line.

On tap in a pint glass. Look is deep black and opaque. Smell is sweet cocoa. Taste is roasty chocolate, vanilla finish. Feel is on the thin side, relatively high carbonation. Overall decent, but not one I would seek out for a repeat

Oatmeal stout with cocoa nibs and lactose. Pours coffe dark with a strong brown head. Bittersweet chocolate note. Creamy smooth like an ice cream soda or cocoa latte. Roast barley and Coffee notes.
Enjoyable beverage.

Creamy, oatey, chocolatey goodness. Malty flavors layered with milk chocolate some coffee and raisin notes culminating into a thick malty feel that leaves me wanting more. Delicious.
