Pours a very dark brown with a small dark caramel head that goes away quickly. Smell is of dark fruit, chocolate and bourbon. Has a chocolate fudge taste with the burn at the end.

Disclaimer: This was 2 1/2 years old when I drank it, so some of the flavors may well have dropped off a bit.
The pour is stout black with a very impressive head for a barrel aged stout. The light brown foam took it's time receding and left a good amount of lacing.
The nose is mostly lost on my Covid damaged nose, but I did get a whiff of chocolate.
The taste is more coffee and roast than chocolate, which suited me fine. The bourbon was barely present, likely a casualty of too long in my cellar. Not a big fan of most flavored stouts, but I could drink this one on a regular basis as the chocolate is in no way over powering.
The feel is a wee bit thinner than I would expect from a barrel aged stout, but that too could have been due to accidental aging.
I will strive to get another and if there are updates that need to be made, I'll make them As it is, good beer, try it if you find it.

16 oz can from the brewery's gastropub in Michigan.

Appearance. This is an essentially black and opaque stout with a short beige head that leaves plentiful lacing on the glass and has excellent retention.

Bourbon and vanilla dominate the aroma while the flavor carries a chocolate note that more prominent than the vanilla but weaker than the BBA effects. While the aroma is nicely harmonious, the flavor is not. This is boozy, whether you are considering the aroma, the flavor, or the mouthfeel.
