Poured at the brewery into pint glass. First pour of a new keg.
Nose: This is what keeps me coming back. An amazing burst of citrus and hops which come upon you as if it were an onrush. There's some herbaceous/grassy notes as well which helps it come together and not feel quite so overwhelming. I could appreciate the nose for a while before going in for my first sip.
Appearance: A cloudy orange-amber which grows in depth and a nice head of foam.
Taste: Hops. Not as much citrus you would expect coming off the nose, but the raw grass notes helps to reign in all the flavors. Though at times it may feel excessive when expecting a high abv ipa, it helps to hold a structure and balance which I can appreciate after having tried a multitude of hop-monsters previously in the same style.
Overall: Leaves steady rings of foam down the pint as I drink, and I appreciate the lacing that continues throughout the entire pint. Ultimately I love this for the nose. Not the best I've tasted, but while it's on tap I will continue to do my best to reach the last pint. 4.25

Sample at the taproom. Hazy orange color with nice lacing upon the first sip. Nose is subtle bready, hoppy character with a bit of orange. Flavor is hops forward with candies orange and grass on the finish. Smooth mouth feel.
