Tried this one at a Peruvian restaurant in Fairview Heights, IL. Pours a dark brown color with a foamy tan head that disappears quickly. No discernable order. Tastes of malts and hops.

I bought this beer in the North part of Lima, in the Metro Supermarket, waiting that they open a beer store in this City. The color is pleasant to see, it is a deep black color and Brown Color. The taste is a bit smocked, roasted malt, hop, the taste is staying a long time, well-balanced.

Possibly got a flawed batch. After the first sip, some lingering aspirin taste made us aware of possible infection.
Pour a nice dark beer. Has a nice chocolate foam. Smells of coffee and chocolate. Has a very nice dark chocolate taste, but then we stopped the tasting. Mouthfeel is medium, not a very light porter, which was interesting to see due to its provenance.

330 mL bottle poured into a straight-sided glass.
Appearance - Gushes as I open it. Pours with a huge khaki head that settles pretty quickly. Big bubbles in a thick collar.
Smell - Ugh, lots of diacetyl. A little bit of roast, but it's mostly buttery.
Taste - Very buttery. Strong diacetyl. Behind that, the malt is deeply roasted. It's bitter and burnt in the finish.
Mouthfeel - The diacetyl isn't just a buttery flavor, it ruins the texture. Slick and oily. Bitter. Well carbonated, though.
Overall - While I know I'm a stickler for diacetyl in beer, this is overwhelming and unacceptable.
