330 mL bottle poured into a straight-sided glass.

Appearance - Deep orange. Much darker than I expected for an IPA. Maybe it's the maíz morado. Nice white head. Retains well.

Smell - Musty grapefruit hop. Medicinal sweet corn aroma, but not as intense as the Cumbres Roja.

Taste - There's some diacetyl going on here. Sweet corn up front. Doesn't taste medicinal here. Musty pine hop bitterness cuts the sweetness, but it comes back as the hop flavor dies down and the corn lingers on the palate.

Mouthfeel - Medium body. Medium carbonation.

Overall - They gotta stop putting this corn into beer. It doesn't work.
