330 mL bottle poured into a straight sided glass. Almost clear bottle, lightly tinted brown.
Appearance - Pours with a gigantic, glass-overflowing khaki head atop a black body. Great retention. Never fully settles. Nice layer of foam remains on top of the beer.
Smell - Nice milk chocolate. Very little sweetness in the aroma. Light coffee roasted malt aroma.
Taste - Milk chocolate. Roasty malt. A hint of a mineral flavor as the body drops off in the back end. Nutty, cola-like finish.
Mouthfeel - Very high carbonation. Medium low body for a porter. Drinkable.
Overall - Well-made porter. Simple, flavorful beer.
