Really curious about these Vizir brews.
Pours hazy dark orange, rich two finger fluffy white head, great retention and very sticky.
Not a hop bomb in the smell, but tasty peach comes through, lots of floral notes, tangerines, sweet tropical fruit (papaya?), all over nice biscuity malts and spicy grass.
Taste is very hoppy: starts rough, leafy green, lots of bitter citrus peel and faint papaya. I also get some grenadine (+its sweetness), vegetable stew (rooty, weird), sour lemon zest and grapefruit. Malts are way under all this stuff going on, barely felt. Very dry bitter finish, big green hops just clean everything up, but there's a chemical, plastic feel lingering, plus some alcoholic perfume.
Medium body, medium carbonation, alcohol is hidden, which is a nice plus, but the aftertaste is just... chaotic.
This beer is hectic as hell, no balance and lots of off notes. It's not bad, it gives you the feeling that it could be incredible, but it needs just a bit of tweaking. Until then, a mediocre effort.
