This batch was aged in Pappy Van Winkle barrels for 6 months, then transferred to super fresh Buffalo Trace barrels for another 6 months. This particular release will be indicated by silver wax and bottled on date

First had poured from 22-oz. bomber, with waxed cap, label stamped “BOTTLED 11.29.17,” into faceted mug. Surprisingly light-bodied ale to be 10.00 ABV and “Double Bourbon Barrel Aged,” but it works. As if it were a low-proof, dark Bourbon whiskey.
