Pours an effervescent & slightly hazed gold with a tiny amount of beige head Zero head retention & lacing

S: Peach soda & vanilla, fades down the stretch

T: Follows the nose, some tartness, a little bit of saltyness as well. Sweet peach mingles with acidity & vanilla as this warms. Finishes mostly sweet with a little tartness & even a little salt & lime

MF: Light body, slight carbonation, a little stickyness on the teeth

Hoped for way more from this one, drinks okay, but glad I purchased a single

Poured a nearly clear with almost no head, which for a gose is not unusual.
I found the aroma sweeter than the taste, plenty of vanilla and peach with a touch of funk, really pretty good.
The taste was flipped from the aroma for me, the sour led the way and the vanilla and peach played support rolls, so it is a gose after all!
The feel is not unexpected considering the add-ins, but for a beer with lactose in it they kept it from being overly viscous. Kudos.
Had this on a hot day, made me wish I had the rest of the 6 pack. Good beer.

Very light head, quickly gone, but unsurprising for the style. Hazy lemon yellow body.

Light notes of flowers and honey, along with fairly noticeable notes of peach. Slightly tart and sour. A touch musty.

Very sweet for the style, a combination no doubt due to the vanilla, peach, and lactose all together. Very light but present tartness. Slightly salty on the finish, but less noticeable than in a more traditional gose.

Medium bodied for the style. Quite drinkable.

A nice fruity twist on a Gose, quite tasty.

Runs a scant $8.99 USD plus tax per sixer of 12 fl oz pull-tab cans...quite a good price.

"Gose ale brewed with peaches, vanilla, lactose, coriander, sea salt." 4.5% ABV.

Drinks easy with a mellow vanillin and peach flavour complementing the gose saltiness nicely. The lactose adds unnecessary sweetness, though, and eclipses the beer's already mild sourness and tang. Omit the lactose, use more lbs of peaches per gallon, and this would be a better gose. The saltiness could also be upped to good effect, and genuine Madagascar vanilla bean would likely play better in the mix than whatever they used.

A worthwhile budget gose from Great Raft.
