A new experiment into the broad universe that is IPA. We abandoned our Hazy IPA playbook to present something new, showcasing a thiolized yeast and concentrated hop oil extracts. The result…”We Used to Dream in Color” Meta Modern Hazy IPA.

Cans are fresh from the brewery. Drank 5/12/25.
Pour is a hazy - but not quite densely opaque and milky - golden yellow with a nice fluffy cap of chalk white foam with good retention. Excellent lacing.
Nose is citrus, lime, grapefruit, a ton of tangerine.
Taste follows. Citrus rind, some lime, grapefruit, some orange rind, tangerine rind, and pithy orange juice.
Soft, pillowy mouthfeel.
Overall, very refreshing and easy to drink. Quite good. No hop astringency, but still quite hoppy. Would personally prefer more bitterness, although this one doesn't stray into the "too sweet" territory. Orange flavor in this one is more "orange juice" character, than what I more often get as sweet-candied-orange, which I don't like. Not here - good stuff. Happy to drink the rest of the 4 pack!
