Big DIPA is a gnarly take on the popular imperial/double india pale ale style. Using some of the most exciting hop varieties, this brew's focus is big on flavor and aroma without any overpowering bitterness.

Bomber. Pours bright golden orange, thin white head fades quickly to a lasting ring, a little soapy lace. Tropical fruit aroma with toasted bread. Taste is a combination of ripe tropical fruit, sweet toasted malt and big piney bitter hops. Finishes semi dry with lasting piney earthy bitterness. Very solid DIPA by Gnarly Barley.

A- Pours a ruby-ish translucent golden orange with a minimal white head that leaves some nice lacing.
S- Peaches, mango, pineapple.
T- More tropical fruit with a pleasant bitterness and a malt backbone that perfectly complements the hops.
M- Medium body with medium carbonation. Coats the mouth as well.
D- A Fantastic DIPA! Can't wait for this to come out again.

On tap at the brewery.
A: A clear gold/yellow with one finger white head that whittled down to foam. Ample lacing.
S: Grapefruit, citrus featuring mango and guava.
T: Follows nose with a strong grapefruit opening followed by mango and guava with other citrus elements. Very low bitterness. An easy drinker.
M: Low to medium with medium carbonation.
O: Even for 8.2%, this is very sessionable. A terrific DIPA in the solar system.

Another great beer from Gnarley Barley. This is their Double IPA and it is fantastic. Checks in at 8% and it's hidden behind some citrus notes. Very crushable beer found in the 22oz bomber format.
