On tap at the brewery on March 14th and 15th. Served into a snifter.

A. A nice ruby red. Clear.

S. Big alcohol notes in the nose with a slight malty sweetness. The alcohol dominates.

T. The strong alcohol hits you first, but it is not alarming. No fusel alcohols. Next comes the sweetness from the malt. The malt sweetness is not as refined or intense as a 12.5% barley/wheat wine should be. Tastes more like a "big boy" wee heavy rather than a barley/wheat wine.

M. Full, slightly syrupy mouthfeel.

O. It was a good beer. Good enough I came back and had a second the next day. However, this is not a wheat wine. It's a big scotch or wee heavy ale and my rating reflects that.
