Poured from the can into a nonic pint glass. No obvious canning date.
Pale amber like in color, slightly orange but with a good sized lemon hue throughout the body, and quite bright yellow into the light. Head comes up foamy white in about two fingers, settling quickly to a very thin puck and collar. Minimal retention, fairly active amount of carbonation coming up as well, slight darker than your average blonde.
Aroma smells like lime dish soap, with some better malt sweetness coming out to save it. Slight hinting caramel, mixes well with a bit of tart and slightly soapy lime, which tends to dominate. Ok, luckily not painful or off putting, but could be worse.
Palate is just weird. Cheap and melted store penny candy flavors, a little bit of Splenda and sugar substitue quality in the mid palate, which strangely comes off fake sweet tasting and just chemical like. Mouthfeel is not bad, if slightly wet, but also very fleeting and not supportive. Slightly chew on the finish but also some stevia herbality to agave like dumbed down flavors which continue.
Doesn't taste much like a mojito that’s for sure, and seems to just have no identity. Not awful, but really not great either.

Yeah it's light, but it's a Blonde Ale. Lime and Mint isn't overdone, which I appreciate. Refreshing in the Summer heat.

Yay! An opportunity to return to what really matters, i.e. The CANQuest (tm), thanks to one of my trivia partners, Emily, who picked up this CAN for yours truly while vacationing in Delaware.
From the CAN: "A Mojito Inspired Blonde Ale!"; "Hunted by many and spotted by few. Chupacabra sightings have been reported across North America for years. You now join the ranks of those who have witnessed it. Our version of the Chupacabra was brewed with lime zest and fresh mint leaves. A 5% Alc. by Vol., this beer is so refreshing your friends won't believe you."
I Cracke!ed it open and began an inverted Glug, producing two fingers of foamy, fizzy, tawny head with low retention. Color was Amber (SRM = > 7, < 9) with NE-quality clarity. Man, I could really smell the lime in this one! I had not even brought it up to my nose and the scent wafting off of it was so limey that I was assure of not CANtracting scurvy. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium. The taste was kind of odd, as though the lime was not interacting well with the mint. There was a lot of lime flavor, but undercut by something less aggressive and therefore not easily identifiable. It was on the finish that I got the coolness of the mint, but now the lime was messing things up. It had a cool, semi-dry finish and it could be a pleasant beer on a hot summer's day, but it requires tweaking to get it there. It's a nice idea, but just not well executed.

OK, I shoulda known better: "Mojita inspired"? What was I thinking??? There's some lime and some malt in there, but it's quite thin, not much taste - shandy lite.
I still have 4 cans (out of a six-pack) of this stuff in the fridge - hoping to convince the wife to try one.

12 oz can, dated 6/1/15, poured into a pint glass
A mojito inspired blonde ale
A- A clear golden amber with a small white head the disappears quickly
S- Very mojito inspired, lots of lime, good amount of mint, hints of caramel malts, faint grapefruit.
T- Sweet bread malt base, some lime, hints of mint, touch of grapefruit, some honey
M- Smooth, light body
O- Smell is a lot more mojito like than it tastes. I am very happy I got some cans of this, cool idea, think it would have been even better with a wheat sour as the base.
