22 oz bottle poured into a tulip
A- Black with a two finger mocha head.
S- Bittersweet rich chocolate and cherries with a faint tartness, hint of caramel malts and roasted coffee.
T- Rich creamy chocolate, some cherries, slightly pine, some roasted coffee in the finish.
M- Smooth, creamy, medium to full body.
O- Mispillion's biggest stand out beer so far. Could be more cherry forward but definitely delivers on the description of chocolate cherry stout. Really hope Mispillion brews this again, definitely will head down their for the release. Would feel that throwing it into bourbon barrels could make for a really fun beer!
