Beer poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours pitch black with a large light brown head. Smells of sweet citrus hops with slight earthiness. Tastes of sweet citrus and grassy hops with nice darker grain and slight caramel. Beer is light/medium bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, an above average beer.

Had at the brewery and then again at home out of the growler. Pours inky black with a decently fluffy tan head that leaves some good lacing. Smell is sweet, chocolate malts and a citrus hop note. Big dankness coming from the mosaic here. The taste is much more balanced, it's still got that sweetness upfront, chocolate, middle is roasty with some more porter-esque notes coming through. Finish is bitter with the citra hops coming through, fruit notes here. Feel is a little thin, minimal carbonation on the tongue. Well done by Mispillion, they caught me off guard with this winner!
