Pours a lovely golden and bright orange color. A large bubbly head dissipates quickly.
As expected, the nose is all about the aroma of freshly cut pineapple. There is also a hint of mango and orange.
Juicy and sweet all throughout, with the dominant flavor redolent of pineapple juice. A bit of mango as well as an orange cream soda flavor to it. There is very little bitterness, some light pine and some resin in the finish.
Medium bodied with a mouthfeel that is at times creamy and sometimes crisp. The carbonation was moderately gentle; I feel it could have used a bit more sting.
A good brew if your in the mood for that juicy pineapple flavor. My only knock against it is that it could have used a little more crispness. Then again, upon further inspection, the can describes it as a “milkshake IPA”, so I suppose it’s appropriate for the style.

Ya know when a pineapple is almost too ripe? The yellow is about to start browning and it can hardly hold the juice any longer... That is the look of this Beer and somehow the smell is just as spot on.
There is the faintest twist of less then perfection on the flavor that my inexperienced pallet can not identify but being that I am a huge pineapple fan this is my new favorite Beer.

On tap, pours hazy gold color with a 1 finger foamy off white head that faded slowly and left excellent foamy lacing coating the sides.
Wow, smells like pineapple, very potent with citrus hops, orange peel, biscuit, yeast and toasted grains. The pineapple is a great dominating aroma that makes up for the weak IPA nose on the back end.
Tastes of pineapple up front, lemon zest, orange peel, coriander, light peppery spices, faint grapefruit, biscuit, toasted grains, chalky yeast and tea leaf and other earthy tones. Smells better than it tastes, but overall it was a smooth enjoyable brew.

Very drinkable...pleasant, pineapple not off-putting. Well balanced golden IPA with some heft at 7.5%, actually amazingly and deceptively strong without seeming so. Loved it, hot summer day double IPA!

Cloudy, white gold color. Modest head. There's a thick ring of lace initially and sporadic spots thereafter.
Semisweet with a solid bitter nose. Tropical hop smell is strongest.
Brief pale malt base. The hop kicks in quickly but not as dominating as most IPAs. The body is neutral with a moderate carbonation level. The finish is straight forward bitterness without any subtlety.

32 oz crowler
L - cloudy but still see through.
S - light pineapple and hops
T - good first taste but then a real bitter note. Pineapple is an undertone which is nice for a change.
F - Lacey and not dry, which is nice
