Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours hazy orange with a fluffy white head. Smells of creamy mango, nice and inviting. Tastes of mango and citrus notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a good beer.

It does not pour like my definition of a milkshake ipa so I took off some points on looks. Otherwise a solid drinking beer. There is a hint of mango along with some orange and pineapple.

Poured into a 24oz glass mug.
Look: Clear amber tangerine. The slightest bit of haze, which can be nearly disregarded given the state of of the IPA in 2021.
Smell: While it says 'mango', the smell is more orange-y citrus. A little mango in the background with the tang of hop bitterness. A little sugary candy in the mix.
Taste: Like Dundee marmalade with a little butter and mango. Sweet orange is carried on a rich current and mitigated with smooth hop bitterness.
Feel: Thick but velvety. Not at all on the refreshing end of IPAs.
Overall: I'd call it a 3.9, definitely a solid brew. The flavors are fairly balanced - it's nice to taste a new IPA - one described as a 'milkshake style', no less - with a discernible bitter note to balance out the fruit sweetness. The heavy body makes this the beer equivalent of a buttered piece of toast with a thick slathering of bitter marmalade. The one bit of disappointment is that the mango that's in the name is much less prominent than the orange and grapefruit. Oh well. Still a very enjoyable beer.
