Can into pint glass. Pours a very dark brown with ruby highlights at the edges. Moderate light tan head; great lacing. Initial impression is chocolate and coffee, nicely balanced. Mouthfeel is fairly thick and smooth. Alcohol, although on the low end for an Imperial, is well hidden. Finish has more chocolate and coffee. Overall, a very straightforward stout that delivers what it promises. Could use a slightly higher ABV to justify its membership in the Imperial Stout club. But I would revisit if it becomes available again.
