Poured from a 12 oz. can. Despite zero agitation, this beer came oozing out upon cracking, resulting in a hazy golden color with several inches of head. Smell is of pine, citrus. Taste follows the aroma, significant bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Notes via stream of consciousness: A very hazy golden-orange body rests lazily beneath a massive head of densely creamy off-white foam. I can't see through it when held to the light, nor do I see any rising bubbles, but I can see some particulate at the bottom of the glass that appears to be hops. The aroma is fairly limited, and a little bit yesty, but otherwise displays the typical West Coast notes of citrus/tropical fruit and pine over a grainy malt base. The taste is much fuller, loaded with both sweetish and subtly caramelish malt and lots of fruitiness including very ripe apple, tangerine, pineapple, and grapefruit. It's bold bitterness balances the sweet malt and leads to a dry and bitter finish with some tropical fruit and a touch of pine lingering. I can see the carbonation now if I tilt the glass. I see very fine bubbles rising slowly, indicating a fairly full body and slightly lower than standard carbonation level. The fine bubbles are so nice though, and it's creamy smooth with what seems like a natural carbonation. The head has held up remarkably well and I still have a solid, creamy cap that's an eight of an inch or more thick. Given that it might not be a surprise that the lacing is quite good as well, covering the entire glass, and leaving some rings here and there atop a surrounding wall of tiny spots. Except for the extra haziness it's a great looking beer. As for everything else it doesn't really push any boundaries but it remains a solid West Coast style IPA. Nicely done.
