La Buena Pinta is a nice little store inside the Mercado de San Fernando in Madrid. A simple place all around, just a couple of shelves inside with beers from around the world and a small cooler with chilled bottles.
The affable owner will pop open any bottle in the store for you to enjoy at the bar-style tables around the store. Cool idea! Or shop around the market while enjoying a beer; there is a gourmet store right next to La Buena Pinta selling fancy cheeses and meats, and also a good wine-and-liquor stand.
La Buena Pinta's selection of Mikkeller brews (10 varieties) is outstanding, and I was surprised to find Weyerbacher Old Heathen and Blithering Idiot. It's got to be the first time I see them in Spain. Also Flying Dog, Anchor, Brewdog, British brews, some Belgians and a ton of Spanish craft brews.
Go local and check this place out when in Madrid!
