Pours a hazel hazel color with a thumb of tan head. Great lacing & average head retention
S: Slightly toasty/nuttty. Medicinal notes once warm
T: Woody hops & spruce tip notes, along with dryness up front. Spruce notes as this warms, a little leafy hop around the edges, just a touch of nuttyness. Sprucey notes with a little cinnamon zip in the finish, plus a little dryness
MF: Medium body, moderate carbonation
An interesting brown, didn't quite live up to the hype, but still very drinkable
