Pours a deep ebony with a sliver of caramel colored head. Decent lacing, minimal head retention
S: Cocoa, roasty notes, a little dark fruit
T: Follows the nose, loads of dryness, some woody hops & vanilla up front. Intense roastyness, a little dark fruit, woody dryness & a touch of mocha as this warms. Finishes dry & roasty, with woody hops, 67 IBUs showing for sure, just a little vanilla & cherry
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation
A serious Imperial Stout, one that requires time & respect. ABV is well hidden but don't let that let that fool you, a bruiser
