12 oz can, purchased in Fayetteville, AR, no date. Into Boiler snifter.

Traditional west coast IPA appearance - gold with slight opaqueness, a toothpaste white head of 2 fingers, leaving lots of webbed lacing as it recedes.

Aroma of fresh cracker and fresh pine, a little paper, a little grass, and slight grapefruit zest.

Wow, this is a full-flavored beer. I was not expecting much here but you definitely get the full gamut. Lots of wet pine, some bread, a touch of caramel malt, a touch of onion, some grass, some lemon, some grapefruit, and some orange. Very enjoyable. Very genuinely west-coast. Hints of Pliney in there. Solid.

Feel is crisp and tight, with a moderate alcohol heat and lots of resins.

Overall, this reminds me a lot of Pliney. I'm really impressed. Great west coast IPA, would definitely pick up again.

Pours an effervescent gold with a thumb+ of pearl colored head. Nice head retention and and alright lacing

S: Grassy, some citrus notes

T: Bready sweetness, grassyness, some dryness up front. Big malty breadyness, some lime and grassyness as this warms. Finishes dry & grassy with a touch of grainyness

MF: Medium body, crisp carbonation & nice balance

Not a fan of session IPAs, this on works for me because of the ABV, a little heavier which is fine by me, nice drinkability
