On tap today at Bittercreek... $3 for a Happy Hour pour seems more than fair. Pours a fairly clear deep amber brown with a short lived light tan head.
The nose shows more caramel maltiness than traditional rich maltiness... Not a whole lot going one.
Flavor shows the same lack of complexity from either the malt profile or the yeast... seems rushed. A little thin on the mouthfeel too.
Okay across the board... I would only buy it again if I was pretty sure it was a new batch and I could see if it was an improvement.

On tap at Sockeye brewpub - Cole Rd. location. Decent scotch ale, dark malt and earthy notes up front. Peat, wood, freshly mown hay, etc., slightly muddy pour.
