This beer is a special brew that has been released to benefit a volunteer group that does trail maintenance work in the Selway-Bitterroot Frank Church wilderness areas. From their website: "The beer itself is a 100% wild yeast (brettanomyces) pale ale that has been aged in oak barrels."
So it's a wild ale, benefiting wild areas. Nice.
For a brett ale, it's fairly understated. Interesting balance between a good pale ale, and the brett influence. I liked it quite a bit.
On tap at the Bittercreek Alehouse.
