Pours a hazy yellow kind of color and with a 1/2" white head. Yeast dominates the aroma, it is Belgian for sure, but more phenolic instead of heavy on the spice rack or coriander. Not hops here.
Taste starts to lean into kolsch territory. Unique yeast flavors, high carbonation translates to this takes on some kolsch like dimensions. The body stays light, very pale toasted malt usage, 2 row stuff. I think the problem with selling this beer as a summer ale is that the yeast is so pungent. Its far from synonymous with summertime. People want a cleaner yeast in the summertime. This isn't thirst quenching or fitting within the confines of summer beers over here.

1 pint can from Jerry’s. Points for trying, this seems like it’s trying to be a Belgian blonde. Slightly tangy, citrusy nose on top of pure grain backbone. Pours light golden with short silky head, decent lacing. Taste also has some citrusy hops before becoming a grain beer.
