This New England IPA delivers four different hop varieties, which provide plentiful notes of grapefruit, pineapple and citrus. The low amount of bitterness of this IPA complements the higher ABV, making it dangerously drinkable

Taste is citrus orange some pine and plenty of sweet malt support.
Mouthfeel is medium with just right carbonation. The finish is somewhat dry and lightly bitter.

definitely retired, this is on tap all over the place right now. a nice hazy imperial, mild as they go, and not as sloppy looking and heavy feeling as a lot of the new england types seem to be, i really enjoyed this, and even found it quite summer. certainly one of the more modern beers these guys do too, on trend not all malty and bitter and from the 90s. it looks like peach juice, yellowish orange with plenty of cloudiness but not loaded with particulate or anything, and with a nice high white head from the tap. aroma is really fruity and fresh, mosaic maybe leading the way, pineapple and stone fruits, ripe and drippy and a little sweet in the nose actually, seems wheaty in the base, almost hefeweizen type to my senses. the flavor has nice balance, no vegetal greenness that plagues so many of these, and there is a decided orange and pineapple fruitiness to it, even some kiwi fruit tropicality. i like this being mellow for a stronger one, its way too easy drinking for what it is, and the freshness on tap at the brewery is fantastic. they did a nice job with this, and i know sockeye isnt one of the sexy and trendy hazy makers right now, but this is better than much of the rest of the field here locally right now.

Golden orange in color with a white, pillowy head. Aromas of soft pine and unpeeled oranges; no discernible malt aroma. Light pineapple flavor with strong alcohol presence. Citrus zest and pinecone flavors to finish. The body is full but soft with medium-high carbonation. The alcohol flavor clings to everything else going on.
