Keeper's Kiss

Last year we teamed up with the folks at Keeper's Heart to release a special single barrel edition of their Irish + American whiskey. We sent them a freshly emptied oak barrel that we aged our Powerhouse Porter in for one year, the barrel previously held a hickory smoked whiskey before it came to us. The folks at the distillery then filled the barrel with their unique blended whiskey and let it meld with the roasty and dark chocolate notes in our beer for a period of about six months. The collaboration was a great success, but we wanted to run it back and double down, so they sent us back this barrel, and we filled it with our infamous Kiss of Death Imperial Stout, where it took on all the special nuances of the Keeper's Heart whiskey. This one of a kind beer comes from a single, extremely well traveled barrel.
