This American style wheat beer is medium bodied, with a mild wheat character. It has a slight hop presence followed by a smooth honey-malt finish. "It's a sure catch every time."

definitely an american wheat type here, quite a simple ale really, no haziness from the wheat at all, no interesting german or belgian yeast character in it either, and certainly no spices or anything in the mix, its really basic stuff, but it drinks easy and serves as a nice food beer with a very spicy beef burrito. a deeper golden color for what it is but crazy clarity for a wheat, nice head on it in the frosted mug its served to me in as well. aroma is flat wheat, fresh and lightly malty, not rustic or raw at all, real pale there, but with a pinch of a richer barley malt to flesh it out a little bit, not much else going on in the nose. the flavor is pretty tame too, and this presents itself to me as a beer for drinking not thinking, a little flash of citrus in the hop profile before the finish is all thats really going on there, and its relative dryness helps it finish pretty quick. i like it having some body, the carbonation is there, but the flavor is really light, almost boring, but the beer is well enough made to satisfy me. not the most exciting i have had from these guys so far, and it seems like its been a long time since i had a basic american wheat like this. nothing special here, but another easy drinker from these guys.

This beer style is one of my least favorites. However, I will march on. Poured into a pint glass at 46 degrees. A frothy two finger head with fair retention. The head dissipated quickly, leaving no lacing on the glass. The color of the beer is SRM 8 a pale amber with reddish hues. The clarity of the beer is clear with a few carbonation bubbles.
Nose:
A clean wheat aroma, with caramel, bready, medium toastiness, and a touch of citrus.
Taste:
A toasted wheat flavors with bready, caramel citrus, yeast, and a touch of floral.
The mouthfeel of the beer is creamy and a touch of astringency. The body of the beer is medium, light carbonation, and a medium finish.
The beer has this odd banana fruit flavor that is not typical of this style. The beer is just average, I have had much better in this style.

One of the better wheat ales, nice slick and slippery body. Toss the orange slice of orange, not needed here. Dark golden with small creamy head. Aroma and taste is pure wheat, but subdued.

Grabbed a keg of this two weeks ago for the house. I love supporting the local beer in the home keg. This beer poured out golden orange with a nice haze through it. clouds swirlled around in the glass and made for a great display.
I like the taste and with a keg I was able to experience the taste change with other flavors. I tryed this beer with lemon, and 3 different types of oranges. It was great with all of them but I honestly prefered it alone. The activity on this beer was great.
I was able to drink this beer night after night. It was perfect for the hot July that we just had here in Boise Idaho. If your looking for a good wheat ale this might just do the trick.

Poured into a Celebrator pokal. Pours a hazy caramel amber with a one finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of bready malt, wheat, light tartness. Flavor is very mild wheat with hints of lemon and cracker. Surprisingly lightly creamy body. Very mild flavor, although the wheat is dominant, reminiscent of a plain saltine in having a soft, light wheat flavor with little other flavor notes. While ordinarily I'd find this a flaw, I found this mild pale wheat ale to be a superb dinner ale, there is little flavor distraction from the ale and the overall impression is light and pleasant. I think this has a lot to do with the nice medium, lightly creamy body which is quite pleasant. Nothing outstanding, but enjoyable.
