With an opaque black color, it boasts a dark milk chocolate aroma with a nicely roasty, albeit slightly astringent, baker’s chocolate taste with some straight coffee and dark chocolate aftertaste. It is a little off balanced with some of the baker’s chocolate, but it is still a good beer! Other good beers close to this style is the Eugene Porter from Revolution Brewing in Chicago and the Decadent Dark Chocolate Ale from Atwater Brewing in Detroit.
