Key keg. Ebony. Thick dense head.
Overwhelming aroma of coconut and chocolate. Malibu.
Sweet Bounty Bar taste with a light bitter finish. Fruit discerned but distant.
Alcohol is lost. Very smooth.
Somewhat mono tasting and still delicious. A fantastic after dinner drink which I tasted in the middle of the afternoon!

Choc-brown with film; big sweet coconut + chocolate liqueur; chocolate cake, a hit of fig, sweet coconut meat, and vague roast.

Doesn’t cloy, which is a miracle, and gets real coconut in. At the same time, little complexity for the 9% - after all, look what Death by Coconut does at 6.5%. Good enough, but not worth the hype.

Pours a pitch black coloration with a medium, creamy head. Smell is dominated by sweet coconut, with hints of caramel malt and milk chocolate coming through as well. Taste follows the nose, being dominated by a sweet coconut flavor and lighter notes of caramel malt, milk chocolate and licorice. Finishes with a somewhat dry, medium bitterness and more coconut lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This is a bit one-dimensional, being totally dominated by a sweet coconut aroma and flavor, but with some milk chocolate as well and a good, dry bitterness in the finish for balance. Body/mouthfeel is a bit thin for the style, but really not too bad. Not my cup of tea personally, but coconut lovers might quite enjoy this. Basically a Bounty Bar in a glass.
