Pours a black color. One inch head of a tan color. Decent retention and slight lacing. Smells of sweet malt, roasted malt, slight alcohol, wood, slight smoke, yeast, and a hint of hop. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, hint of roasted malt, slight yeast, hint of hops, slight smoke, and slight wood. Overall, weak appearance, good aroma, body, and blend.

Pours black in color with a medium sized khaki colored head atop the beer. Looks to be on the thin side.

The nose is of roasted malts and something I would assimilate to rusty hard water. The aroma is not bad, but not knockout amazing either.

Flavor: Roasted. Something slightly sweet and adjuncty. A touch smoked, but not nearly enough for the beer to actually have the word "smoked" in it's name.

The mouthfeel is thin for a stout. Thin and pretty wimpy. It's carbonation is decent, but I would never say this beer has even close to the body that a stout should have.

This is not that great of a beer. If you haven't tried it, you aren't missing much.

L- Black body, creamy nut colored head with nice persistence.
S- Toasted grains, some sugar.
T- Sweet smoked sugar, but barely noticeable. Then a strong roasted note dilutes the sweetness and ends up bitter and forgettable.
F- Medium, ends watery.
O- The smoked sweetness is barely there and ends up drown on a roasted aftertaste.
