Cool little brewery in the industrial area on the outskirts of town. Very open 14 foot garage door to covered and uncovered patio. Large U-shaped bar seats about 16 with one leg a 20 service bar. A few tables in the back and along the perimeter. 16 beers on tap, their focus seems to be fruity ice cream beers, I had the Swatches: Dtardust Evening, a solid New England IPA. Friendly service. Looks like a cool place to hang out after work or on the weekend.

i have long wanted to check this place out, but find myself in greeley so rarely that its never happened until today. you have to work to get there, on the wrong side of the tracks, quite literally, but its well worth the commute. they have a lot of cool beers both on tap and in package, a pretty prolific operation, and it seems like a lot of what they do is available here, which is sweet. so many dessery and adjunct beers happening, maple pecan this, fruity lactose dry hoppy that, its uncanny, but all of it is ahead of the curve in terms of quality, and some of it is downright epic. i really liked an an ipa with cocoa nibs and a coffee and caramel stout, among others. heck even their helles lager is brilliant. a mellow space, expansive but minimal at the same time, cozy but big, with barrels everywhere and an obvious vibe like they are trying to get bigger. i thought the beer list was insane, even better when the to go offerings are factored in, and the service was casual and smart. i have to posit that this is one of the most underrated breweries in the state if not the country, like, everything they do is great, the people are cool, and their space is inviting and fun. i am stoked to have these guys around. if you arent hip yet, pay attention, wiley roots is coming!

Authentic. Rustic. Garage/working brewery. Really cool vibe if down to earth, accommodating and interesting beer nerds are your thing. Helpful taster shots to sample a potential pour. Great, great service behind the bar. Guy has been there since February 2017 but obviously feels comfortable in his role and was extremely gracious and engaging. Many of the beers are gose, sours, wilds and the like. A few interesting heavy beers...adjunct porter and stouts. I am not in this class yet, but a beer snob (without attitude amd saidbrespectfully) would be incredibly at home visiting. The beers use strong character ingredients (blood orange, lemon verbana, spearmint, etc) in many of their brews, but all beers have a delicate balance and really make you think about the layers and complexity. Great spot for sessionable, sour, wild beer drinkers and even those like me who prefer stouts but want their palate to be challenged. Cheers!

I really love this place. I think what makes Wiley Roots stand out to me is the fact that the owners not only have a unique vision for their establishment (vibe, tap list, programs, etc.), but they also consistently make high-quality brews. It's a rare thing to find a young brewery that offers both good beer and a pleasant environment (attributable to good management and good service). Having been open for just over two years, Wiley Roots is certainly an exception. If you're near Greeley, you've got to check this place out.

I believe Wiley Roots just hit the year milestone at their current, and initial, location. I am looking forward to seeing the progression of this Brewery over time. I think the Greeley market is ripe for competition and collaboration with the advent of a 4th craft brewery in the coming months.
This location was the beginnings of another local brewery yet Wiley Roots has taken this space and made it their own. Due to the small operation, on any given night you will more than likely be served by a family member of the founder. Still in the initial stages of a full scale brewery, the taps at Wiley typically have something new and special. I will say - I have yet to have a Wiley Roots beer that was less than excellent. They treat you well at Wiley and the service is quick and typically comes with thorough answers to any question you may have regarding the beer.
I now live in the Denver suburbs and frequently get the itch to get back to Wiley anytime I am back in town. High quality beer, reasonable prices and a friendly atmosphere make this a terrific new brewery!!
Go check them out while they are young so that in coming years you might be privileged to say to your fellow craft connoisseur - 'I remember them when they were just starting out!'

Wiley Roots is located in the same building where Crabtree used to house its brewery and taproom, but they've completely transformed the space, turning it into a clean, modern facility in which to gather and drink beer. Good beer. Out of the gate Wiley adhered to a quality over quantity approach, only offering two beers, but unlike a lot of other upstart breweries these beers were ready to go on day one. Their chocolate porter instantly became my favorite locally-brewed session beer, but it was their wheat beer that took home a GABF bronze medal. The staff right now is mostly friends and family members of the owners, but they're not shy about discussing beer and are very attentive to customers. It's exciting to finally have another local brewer in Greeley and I think we can expect great things from Wiley in the future.
