Selection was decent and on our with other shops in the area (TG, new glaurus, 3 Floyd's). Good location....easy to get in and out of. Had KBS and zombie dust behind the counter....but it was was "you have to buy that in order to buy this" which was a little dissapointing. I had the same cashier both visits.....came across annoyed when I asked questions. Definitely better options in the area.

You can tell this guy follows secondary market prices on beer and bourbon. Everything is so over-priced. I can't recall the specific bourbon I was after but I called about it and thought the price was pretty ridiculous. Then I check the after market prices and lo and behold that was exactly what it was selling for online. The owner has the personality of a wet noodle, definitely not a "people person," probably should get a job where he can sit behind a computer screen or somewhere out of the service industry. Very soft spoken, not welcoming in the slightest, seems to have a permanent scowl. The selection is pretty decent for such a small store, about 10 doors worth of craft beer, but even the shelf turds like Sierra Nevada are priced higher than anywhere else in the state. Forget about it if you find something with some value to it, as it will be double the price of what it's MSRP should be set at. Then to top it off the guy will go to events like Central Waters Anniversary party, purchase and sell the beers at his store at huge markup. Quite the shady mofo, IMO. Thanks goodness I can get Toppling Goliath elsewhere in the area now, won't ever come back here again.

Looks promising, until you reach the beer section. Everything is overpriced compared to the area about $2-3 more a six pack and 12 pack. Big Bad Baptist was $13.99, other stores were $11.99. I wanted so badly to form a mix a six, to at least spread my business around a bit, but all I could find were two beers out of the ten provided that I was really interested in.
Counter service was monotone.
I also heard this store may be closing. That may be why the beer selection is low, or vice versa.

Nice location, has a very very good selection of craft and macro beers. A few imports, but nothing great. They carry all the big things you'll likely be looking for if you;re out of state - New Glarus, Central Waters, Surly, FFF, etc. Almost all of the beer is kept in refrigerators so that was a big plus. Only downside is everything was definitely marked up a couple dollars here. NG 6-packs were $2 more than woodman's, the fruit beers were also $2 more. Todd the Axe was even more ridiculously expensive than usual and so on and so forth. Still, if you are looking for something harder to get, this is a great place to stop.

Stopped in here over the weekend, it's a newer store and everything is still bright and shiny. Very brightly lit with shiny floors and freshly dusted shelves. There's plenty of room to move around. Most of the beer was in coolers along the back wall, with a few endcaps facing the coolers.
Selection was good, full lines from Alesmith, Bells, Three Floyds, Founders, Central Waters, Tyranena, New Glarus, and a few Toppling Goliath bombers but sadly no PseudoSue. A handful of quality imports but mainly a US craft focused selection. Prices seemed a little higher than elsewhere in town.
Service was limited to the counter, the clerk said hello and was pleasant.
Best stores in the area are Viking in Reedsburg, and Barabrew in Baraboo.

I was with my family visiting one of the water parks nearby, didn't realize that it's not in the "Dells", but super close to the highway and easy to get in/out of. I'm not sure what locals would expect but for an out of towner (Missouri) I thought their selection was pretty decent. They had lots of New Glarus and other WI beers, including thumbprint series, Belgian Red, Serendipity, Raspberry tart - large bottles were $9.99 and 4 packs were 9.99, so price seemed normal. The had offerings from the Bruery, 3 Floyds (Dreadnaught, life a rich life, Gumbal, Alpha King, Robert the Bruce), Central Waters barrel aged stout and barleywine, CW16, Alesmith Speedway and had a couple Barrel Aged Alesmith brews as well. They had a couple Toppling Goliath beers and it sounds like they get small quantities of the limited stuff, but it sells out immediately. Again, maybe the selection is standard compared other places, but I thought it should be noted. I wouldn't say the selection is huge, but from my perspective they had a lot of stuff I don't have access to so it was good for me. I didn't feel the need to drive further into the Dells for anything else so I thought this place was really good.
The store is newer, clean, well lit, the staff was friendly enough.
