From the bottle, it pours a very slightly hazy yellow gold with a modest head. In the nose, hops! Scent to me is piney and enjoyable. In the mouth, the hoppy bitterness is present, but well balanced by the malt.

Decanted from a 11.2 oz (330 ml) green bottle into a custom taster pint; code 100/ 18 11, guessing that's bottled 11/18.
A: Pours a hazy, dark golden color with a one to two finger, white head with long lasting retention, but limited, lacing.
S: Maybe a touch floral with aromas of caramel, toast, ?lemongrass, and toffee. Quite a bit of graininess.
T: Dry. Flavors derived from the nose. Fairly strong, peppery bitterness, but pretty clean finish.
M: Medium bodied with solid carbonation.
O: Very solid, but surprising given its name, not a particularly overhopped European lager. Pricy though.

I pour one and a half bottles into a half liter stein,a light to medium golden with a nice white frothy crown atop.Sharpness from the hops comes thru right away in the nose along with just a faint green bottle skunkiness that doesn't intrude but is slightly noticeable.Very bright on the palate the Simcoe's and Amarillo's really come thru, very easy going down, the citric hops makes it a refreshing lager. It's not an over hopped IPA in lager form,it's a well made hoppy lager.Well done.

330 ml bottle into lager glass, bottled on 4/10/2018. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lemon, orange, peach, melon, citrus zest, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Very sight skunky hints, that go away through the glass. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity citrus/earthy hops and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, orange, peach, melon, citrus zest, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, peach, melon, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeasty notes present. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a very good dry hopped pale lager. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops and pale malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Very clean and rich pils malt showcase, with balanced citrusy/noble hops. The noble hop character is predominant in the finish, so it still hits all style marks really well. Was expecting more US hop character from Amarillo/Simcoe/Cascade, but it had a solid amount. A very enjoyable offering.
