From the half liter flip top bottle, it pours a clear light yellow gold with a very nice white head that slowly diminishes. The nose gets a nice hay scent with light malt. The mouth follows with the same - easy drinking, not too memorable..

0,5L bottle with a best by date of 10.05.24. Had low expectations for this because while it’s a well-known local brewery, they just don’t make very good beer. But this was pretty tasty. Can see this being an easy beer to drink in large quantities at the Volksfest here in Stuttgart. Golden yellow, aromas and flavors of hay and lightly roasted malt. A bit dry with that classic light lager finish and feel. Wouldn’t seek out but certainly wouldn’t turn it down.

De Mas Ginés. En copa hefe de Bavaria. Estudiando. Sensación algo aguada, que no llega a estar mal del todo pero que si deja una sensación algo decepcionante.

corn or honey? geez this one is bland and indecisive... like a dead fish, it just lays there offering no treats. i'll try to finish it, considering all the other goodies i have in the frig, but there is no way i would knowingly purchase (or drink) this one again....Kelloggs Corn Pops!

I picked this one up at the local German market. Aroma was very malty, corny and sweet. Not super familiar with this style of beer so take this review with a grain of salt. There is likely no hops in this beer - if I had to rename this style I'd call it a German corn beer cuz it's very corny and malty. I detect no hops whatsoever just sayin. There is a light butterscotchy taste coming through that dominates the pallet beyond that I got nothin as far as taste goes. Not sure if I'd buy this again but it's worth a try nonetheless. For those of us on the other side of the "pond" this beer is a tough sell.

This is an excellent pale oktoberfest/stronger pale lager/helles beer.
Deep gold, it has a big white head, slowly shrinking with lasting foamy thin top, some lace.
Aroma is herbal with honeyed grain/bread.
Taste is excellent, classic German/Czech character of herbal hop bitterness with a firm underfooting of honeyed bread and yeastiness. Bitterness is noticeable throughout but balanced with the sweetness. It is zesty and engaging, Feel is lively. It has a subtle but nicely complex character.

Another average beer that is enjoyable if you're not picky. Marzens are usually easy and smooth beers and this one keeps the name going. Well balanced but not remarkable.
Not a whole lot to say, just enjoy it.

500ml bottle from Aldi supermarket, Scotland:
Quite a disappointing beer & much like the first from the brewery that I tried early this year, this is another from Dinkelacker-Schwabe that I'll definitely be avoiding in future. There was some basic malts & grassy flavours in the early going with the odd lager malt & some citrus but it wasn't overly strong or varied with the taste getting quite boring towards the end; one to avoid I'm afraid.

Pours clear gold, small head that dissapates quite quickly.

Sweet, lightly fruity aroma, sweet apple, some malt

Taste isn't bad, pale malts, sweetish, some lemony flavour

not bad

Poured from a swing-top into a pint glass

L: vigorous pour produces massive head that dissipates quickly to virtually nothing. nice golden color

S: grassy, hint of lemony citrus, some grainy pale malt but not much

T: hints at sweet pale malt. hints at fresh cut grass and lemony citrus too but overall the flavors are pretty underwhelming. clean finish, almost metallic

F: thin w/ low carbonation. very smooth

O: uninspired. it's like a "marzen light", you could drink a lot of these without thinking about it but I'd much rather drink regular marzen

Metallic aroma. Hops and cereal noted. Fruit detected.
Sweet malt flavour. Very light spice. Apple core dryness to finish.
Medium body and moderate carbonation.

Appearance: This one pours a clear golden color with a white head a good two fingers worth of head.

Aroma: Lemon zest, grassy, caramel malts, faint spice, apple, light cinnamon.

Taste: Malty sweetness in the front along with a smooth mouthfeel. Citrus and floral hop that brings a slight dryness but that mellows out. Caramel malts, cinnamon, faint pear and apple.

Notes: Overall this one is tasty and drinkable not a bad find either. Prost.

Malt and silver coin flavour
It does have a good mouthfeel though
