A mainstay at The Auld Rogue in Vaihingen-Stuttgart. The cheapest pint available. Mediocre but drinkable. A grainy and crisp Export. Many better out there and for a better price, but this is ubiquitous at many Biergartens and restaurants in and around Stuttgart. Justifiable at a few euro or so for a half liter pour but it’s often priced around €4,50 for a pint vom fass and that’s just tough to stomach.

It is nothing spectacular but it does the trick. It has an average golden body with a good white head. There is a lot of malt ot the flavor and the aroma but this is not a hoppy beer at all. This has a crisp, clean and full mouthfeel. Overall it is not bad but would not be my first choice.
