Our version of the hazy style IPA is double dry hopped with Falconer’s Flight, Amarillo, and Citra hops. These hops bring aromatics of orange, tangerine, and pineapple accompanied by flavors of tangerine, grapefruit, guava, and pineapple! This delicious Hazy IPA is named for the strength, pride and majesty of the Native American Appaloosa horse.

Poured into a wide mouth pint tulip shaped glass, color is straw gold, head is brighter white and presents with a mixed top head / average head about 1/2 inch thick, thick/spotty lacing along the glass sides.
Smell is bright, citrus based, light tropicals, some malt, hint of biscuit.
Taste is similar mix of citrus and light tropicals, light malt and biscuit notes.
Mouthfeel is low carbonation, moderate sweetness, low bitterness.
Overall an IPA that leans to the HIPA profile but lower on aroma/taste scale.

Pours a slightly unfiltered golden color with a foamy white head that provides minimal lacing. Doesn’t look the part of a NEIPA. The nose is oranges, tangerines, and pineapple as described on the can, but again it’s not in the NEIPA style, IMHO.
The taste follows the nose and is a bit juicy, but it is more in the WCIPA style, as is the crisp, dry mouthfeel. This is a decent beer, but it’s not a NEIPA, again IMHO.

Picked up a single from the Kings Beer & Wine cooler 11-17-20 for $2.69. Canned 9-30-20; consumed 3-8-21. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured a hazy golden orange with a very nice white head that has some excellent hang time.
Nose is nice being a combination of citrus and tropical hops.
Taste is nicely done with a moderate pale malt base in which a juicy orange, grapefruit, mango, and a touch of peach forms to combine a tasty flavor. Finishes with moderate bitterness; 5/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and very refreshing.
Overall a tasty well made beer at a very nice price!

A: Golden with a light haziness, thick foam and lacing.
N: Tropical notes, citrus, and some pine.
T: Follows the nose, refreshing tropical hit with crisp citrus. Some minor pine/dryness on back end.
M: Light and clean, super easy to drink.
O: A decent beer but not what I would consider a Hazy. This to be was a softer WCIPA. Overall not bad but not to the style.

Pint can - Canned on 02/07/2020:
Pours hazy golden with a thin lasting creamy head. Lacing sticks.
The smell is of strong citrus and tropical notes - guava, grapefruit, pineapple. Soft dough in the background.
The taste is of citrus and tropical fruits - guava and grapefruit with late pineapple. Doughy malt balances the hops. Sweet kiss soon fades to a mellow bitterness. Long finish.
It is somewhat creamy with flavor lingering on the palate. (In between scores it is refreshingly smooth and ample enough to give higher of the two.)
A nice example of a hazy, citric/tropical-forward IPA.
